Bipasha Basu has replaced by Kangana Ranaut

Unlike in Hollywood where the sequels have the same star cast, our Bollywood doesn’t believe in that it seems. Sequels are planned but the original stars are replaced.

The sequel of Golmaal, Malamaal Weekly and Dhamaal are been made with a few stars of the original stars replaced. Now the same trend is being followed by the Bhatt brothers who are making a sequel to Raaz. The original which had Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea are not part of the sequel.

Producers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt along with director Mohit Suri are making the sequel of Raaz and have titled it Raaz 2. The film was supposed to have Amrita Rao in place of Bipasha Basu but now she too has been replaced by Kangana Ranaut.

Kareena request to Rohit Shetty for her friend Amrita Arora

Kareena Kapoor has made a great show of her friendship with Amrita Arora and has decided to pay back to her friend who has been with her through thick and thin.

Kareena Kapoor has signed ‘Golmaal Returns’ opposite Ajay Devgan to be backed by Asthvinayak Productions. We know that Bebo had developed a good rapport with the production house during the making of their ‘Jab we Met’ and has also signed a 3-movie deal with them. So when director Rohit Shetty was in the process of finalizing an actress to play opposite Arshad Warsi, Kareena was quick to request Rohit to sign her good friend Amrita for the role. The producers could not refuse Kareena.

So Amrita is now on board and the two girls are all set to do some ‘Golmaal’.

Celina will be playing a different roll in ‘Golmaal Returns’

Audiences who have been seeing Celina in her glam roles will now see her in a completely different light as she has been roped in to star opposite Shreyas Talpade in the sequel to Shree Ashtavinayak’s hit laugh riot Golmaal, Golmaal Returns directed by Rohit Shetty. The actress will be joining the likes of Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Anjana Sukhani in the lead for the film with supporting cast being Mukesh Tiwari, Murli Sharma, Sanjay Mishra and Vrajesh Hirjee.
Celina will be playing a very normal, simple, and different girl in Golmaal Returns, opposite Shreyas Talpade. She is the sort of girl who for some reason everyone is searching for in the film!

Kareena Kapoor in Golmaal sequel

Actress Kareena Kapoor has been the latest entrant to join the Golmaal wagon. The lady will play the female lead in this supposed-to-be laugh riot, and sequel of Golmaal, titled Golmaal Returns.

Only recently, actor Sharmaan Joshi was replaced by Shreyas Talpade (of Iqbal fame). The cast of the film also includes actors Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi, who were a part of the ‘original’ as well.

Dhillin Mehta of Ashtavinayak Films confirms, “Yes, we have roped in Kareena for the sequel of Golmaal , which will be directed by Rohit Shetty.”

The movie will be shot in Dubai in November. It’ll be a forty day schedule.
