Vidya and Shahid : Just friends
After Bebo’s fascination with the letter ‘S’, Vidya too has fallen for the famous letter and it seems it does not stand for ‘size’ but ‘Shahid’.
However, Vidya who had been denying reports of Shahid being anything more than just a friend has recently stated that she is no longer single and loves it.
When asked to reveal the name of the mysterious someone, Vidya says, “The other evening, I went to watch Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak perform Dear Liar at Prithvi theatre.” On being asked who accompanied her, she chuckles, “Ah, it was friend whose name begins with ‘S’. I’m not saying any more than that!”
Though the two have constantly maintained ‘they are just friends’ statement, Vidya has this obvious gleam when she talks about the man in question.
“I don’t deny that Shahid is a very close friend. For the first time, I’ve worked with a co-star who’s actually closer to me by way of age, experience and temperament. We were together for two months in Toronto shooting Aziz Mirza’s Kismat Connection and we really got along well.”
The actress, who is all praises for her co-actor said, ”I found him very calm and intelligent. I think we’re alike in many ways. I really enjoyed working with him. And I would love to do more films with him.”
With this it looks like Shahid is finally moving on.
