Sonam Kapoor will star opposite SRK in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will star opposite Sonam Kapoor in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Shah Rukh Khan and Sonam Kapoor have been locked down to play the main leads and from what we hear the story might just be another Nishabd.
SRK is expected to play a 40 year old NRI who is based in the UK and leads the life of a loner. He returns to his hometown where he meets the young Sonam Kapoor. Playing a typical Punjabi kudi who is just 16 years of age, Sonam is expected to have all the attributes that SRK stays away from.
The film will be shot in Greece, Australia and Dubai and will be released by the end of 2008.
Filming for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is expected to begin on May 12 and will be released at the end of the year on December 19.
This film will mark the return of Aditya Chopra to the director’s chair after his super hit Mohabbatein (2000). And although Yashraj may hope for a repeat performance from their head honcho with Nishabd still a part of most Bollywood viewers’ memories, the success of this film is something that even the Yashraj-SRK winning combination cannot guarantee!
