UTV Motion Pictures has acquired the two new movies of Tips Films, Race and Kismat Konnection for worldwide distribution. The exact figure is not known but it is said to be in the range of 90 crore. The deal does not include music rights which will be kept by Tips.

The deal for Kismat Konnection which stars Shahid Kapur and Vidya Balan with direction by Aziz Mirza is worth 30 crore. This film is expected to release in May.

Race which has a few promos showing on various television channels will be released in March and it stars Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy. From the total amount of the deal, Race is said to be worth 60 crore.
