Sanjay Dutt will return to home on November 27
Actor Sanjay Dutt has been languishing in Pune’s Yerawada Jail for a while now. But there is good news.
On Monday, the Supreme Court said that it would grant bail to all Mumbai serial blast convicts who have been found guilty of lesser offences and awarded lighter sentences by TADA. The court has refused to take up and consider the bail pleas of blast convicts individually. The court said that on November 27 it would pass a general order granting bail to all those who faced lighter sentences.
The actor is among the four, out of the hundred convicted by the court, who were declared not guilty under the terrorists act. The actor’s lawyers believed that this is a good chance. The actor had earlier been sentenced to six years imprisonment by the TADA court. If this happens, then this would be great news for Dutt’s family and his girlfriend Maanyata. The actor was not allowed to come home for Diwali and neither did he receive any visitors on that day. There are enough projects in Bollywood which are awaiting his arrival.
