Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra is going to direct a film after an interval of eight long years. His production house Yash Raj Films is one of the best recognized film production houses in India.Last year, though, was not a particularly good year for Yash Raj Films. Most of the films produced with great expectations performed poorly at the box office.

The directorial debut of Aditya Chopra was a dream launch for any director. He gave a blockbuster in the form of Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. The second film that he directed was Mohabbatein.

Last year Yash Raj Film had produced a blockbuster in the form of Chak De India. But several flops made it look as to whether this production house had lost the magic touch that ensured any film produced by it a success or at least a good opening.

The film that Aditya Chopra is going to direct is loosely named as ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. If people are to be believed the film is going to star the most sellable star of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Kha (SRK). His presence in Yash Raj Films’ movie Chak De India had ensured the film a grand success at the box office.

There are no final words on the female lead. It is said that the hunt is on to have a fresh face for the film, but Rani Mukharjee can emerge as a frontrunner for the lead role in the new film.
