Minissha Lamba is game for item numbers
Minissha Lamba sees nothing wrong in doing item numbers if they are demanded by a film’s script.
With Beedi Jalaile and Namak Issak Ka in Omkara , Vishal Bharadwaj has given a new definition to item numbers in Bollywood. The two songs featuring Bipasha Basu were not deliberately squeezed into the film’s plot but were very much part of the story’s progression.
If such item songs come her way, Minissha Lamba says she too is game for them. The gorgeous belle says she understands very well that “song and dance is integral part of Bollywood films as it lends to entertainment value.”
Minissha also makes it clear that she would love to do a full-on item number if it is done within cinematic aesthetics.
The 22-yr-old actress is presently doing four films – Anamika , Kidnap , ‘Shourya’ and ‘Puran Masi’ (a short film).
Minissha says some of her forthcoming films will showcase her dancing skills as well.
We’ll wait to see.
