Sujoy Ghosh, producer and director of Alladin And The Mystery Of The Lamp, had a special guest last week during the film’s shoot. Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, was invited by Amitabh Bachchan on the sets after he expressed his desire of seeing a film’s shoot in India. Since the second schedule of the film is currently on at Film City, Big B, who plays ‘Genius – The Genie in the film’, gladly invited him over to the sets.

Informs Sujoy, “The Mayor not just visited the sets but also gave a clap for one of the shots. He is aware about the legend of Alladin and found it exciting to witness a film being made on such a grand scale in India.”

Talking about how the Mayor landed up on the sets, Sujoy says, “He came mainly as Mr. Bachchan’s guest. After witnessing the shoot, he expressed that it was a nice experience for him.”
