Jodhaa Akbar : Why bollywood star Hrithik Roshan chooses difficult roles?
There is a reason as to why Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan chooses difficult roles such as the Mughal emperor in the new historical romance Jodhaa Akbar opposite the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai .
The reason is that difficult roles challenge Hrithik to excel as an actor.
I really want to do films that scare me so much that I won’t be able to afford it if they don’t fare well,” Hrithik said in an interview.
It is only when it seems to threaten the value of my job would I be consciously giving it my best,” Hrithik said.
But Hrithik said what he loathed most playing Akbar was wearing a lot of heavy jewelry and armor. He said it was awkward to wear earrings and chunky necklaces that were needed to reflect the royalty of the 16th century.
The shooting of Jodhaa Akbar concluded in November last year with a lavish song.
The elaborate song was shot for about 13 days at Nitin Desai’s studios in Karjat.
Titled “Azeem O Shah, Shahenshah”, the song featured about one thousand dancers in traditional costumes, wielding swords and shields.
