There is a reason as to why Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan chooses difficult roles such as the Mughal emperor in the new historical romance Jodhaa Akbar opposite the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai.

The reason is that difficult roles challenge Hrithik to excel as an actor. Hrithik express his view on Jodhaa Akbar.

Jodhaa Akbar to me is all about breaking notions, challenging mind sets of people who expect only a certain kind of treatment in period dramas. Jodhaa is not a period film. It’s a love story and the moment the youth is not able to identify with the film, it will be a failure.
