Talent hunts were held accross the country to find a suitable new face to start opposite Shahrukh Khan in Aditya Chopra’s directional venture Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, to release on December 12th.

He searched around the clock for the perfect face, when in fact he ended up choosing an actress that has recently made an entry into the fraternity. Sonam Kapoor has reportedly been signed for the role.

But A source from the project leaked details about who the girl is. Her name is Simran and she’s currently staying at a hotel in Juhu. She doesn’t have any acting background and was chosen solely on the basis of her looks and the screen test.

However, since there has been no confirmation, things can always change at the last minute. For now, get ready for a completely new and fairly interesting jodi to hit the screens this December!
