Salman Khan’s trip to London to unveil his wax statue at Madame Tussauds has put Boney Kapoor’s film on hold. But the director isn’t complaining too much.

“As it is, everything in Tamil Nadu was closed for Pongal. So I’d say Salman’s visit to London was well timed. We now have just a portion of the talkies and some songs and then we’re done,” Kapoor told.

Boney’s unit in Chennai awaits Salman’s return before shooting resumes for the film, which was earlier titled Wanted Dead & Alive.

Salman, in and out of various controversies throughout 2007, has managed to complete Kapoor’s film in almost record time.

“I always had full faith that he would,” said Kapoor emotionally. “We never panicked because of Salman’s troubles. We knew he would make it.”
