BHOOL BHULAIYAA has registered the biggest box office opening in UK
Akshay Kumar-starrer “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” has registered the biggest box office opening for any Bollywood films this year in the UK and made it to the top ten in film charts there.
The comedy thriller, directed by Priyadarshan, notched up 293,905 pounds in three days and reached 7th spot in the charts.
In US too, Bhool Bhulaiyaa opened with a staggering USD 512,000 and the total first three-day billing outside India for the film reached Rs 6.5 crores, compared to Rs 4.75 crores brought in by Laga Chunari Mein Daag, it added.
The film by T-series, released on October 12, has topped the big banner Yash Raj release “Laaga Chunari Mein Daag” across the globe. This comes as a big surprise because Yash Raj films is considered a giant in the overseas specially, with movies that have heavy duty cast and focus on Indian cluture and traditions.
