David Dhawan will direct the modern-day remake of Manmohan Desai’s movie Amar Akbar Anthony. The original movie had Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna playing three brothers separated at a young age.

Salman Khan will play Anthony Gonsalves (a hoodlum), Arbaaz Khan will play Amar (a cop) and Sohail will play Akbar (a tailor and singer).

Himesh Reshammiya will compose the music for the film.
