Most await movie this Christmas, for as many as three biggies — Firoz A. Nadiadwala/Anees Bazmee’s “Welcome” Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Halla Bol” and Aamir Khan’s “Taare Zameen Par”.

Having gone through a super successful year with three top-ranking comedies, Namastey London, Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of Welcome, his next big laugh-out-loud comedy, Nana Patekar who would be seen lending his voice for an item number for Welcome.

Music director Anand Raj Anand who has composed the music for the film approached Nana to sing the song for Welcome. The song will also feature another music director Shankar Mahadevan, not composing but singing for the same song. It is speculated that Anand Raj Anand is also planning to rope in Anil Kapoor to sing as well. Now that a lot of actors are going the singing way our playback singers better watchout.
