The shooting of the Bollywood remake of the Tamil hit GHAJINI has started. The original hit was directed by Tamil director A R Murugadoss. The buzz was that GHAJINI is a remake of Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award winning MEMENTO. Aamir Khan who is also producing the Hindi remake of GHAJINI has denied the fact. Actor Surya has played the lead in the Tamil version of GHAJINI, however Aamir is playing the lead its Hindi remake. Murugadoss has already proved his prowess as a successful director down South. Let’s see if he creates his spark in Bollywood with the Hindi remake of his Tamil hit.
The super actor may officially be on a long break, but that is far from the truth. As per  trade and distribution sources, Aamir Khan has a good mind to release his next film (still untitled), the Hindi remake of the South blockbuster, GHAJINI, during the next ‘Deepawali’.

Well knowing the film industry, we are quite sure that many other filmmakers will also try to cash in on the festive period and will follow suit!
