Dancing diva Madhuri Dixit’s comeback movie Aaja Nachle has hit a major roadblock.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati banned the film, released in theaters on Friday.
”Censor Board should have taken the matter into consideration but now we have banned the movie in the cities of UP in order to avoid any harm to law and order situation in the state,” said J N Chamber, Principal Secretary, Home.

Taking no chances, Director Anil Mehta has agreed to remove the offensive words.

”We didn’t set out to make a film which would offend any sensibility. It’s not our intention to hurt any section of the society. We made the film in good spirit and faith. And if for some reason it offended the sensibilities of some people, we will delete the line,” said Anil Mehta, Director, Aaja Nachle.
