Saawariya is a Bollywood film to be released in November 2007. The film is under production, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It will released by Sony Pictures India, and it will be first Indian movie produced by a Hollywood production house. [citation needed]

The film stars Salman Khan and Rani Mukherjee in supporting roles. The lead roles will be played by debutantes Ranbir Kapoor (the son of Rishi Kapoor) and Sonam Kapoor (the daughter of Anil Kapoor) . The film is said to be a musical love story .

The film is currently being shot in India. Bhansali has booked out RK Studios and has started recording the songs for the film . Sony plans to release the film with more than 2,000 + prints worldwide. Saawariya will hit the screens in Diwali 2007
