Music Review : Ghajini

MNIK | My Name is Khan | Shahrukh Khan | Kajol | Karan Johar

A.R. Rahman truly creates a soundtrack which makes an instant impact and yet retains the classy touch which is expected from him, especially noticeable in songs like ‘Guzarish’ and ‘Kaise Mujhe’.

The soundtrack has an instant impact and retains the classy touch associated with Rahman, especially noticeable in songs like Guzarish and Kaise Mujhe.

Next comes the foot-tapping number Aye Bachchu – a party track which has an out and out Western rhythm to it. The same goes for Latoo which is also heavy on orchestra.

The next number comes in the form of Behka – a sure shot chartbuster. It represents the most unique composition of the album.

What makes the album even more special is that this is the third time that A. R. Rahman is collaborating with an Aamir Khan starrer. First it was Rangeela, then came Lagaan and Rang De Basanti, and now its Ghajini.

While the music is sensational, the lyrics seem one step further. Prasoon Joshi seems to be in full-form as far as the lyrics of the album go.
