Shahrukh Khan’s Chak De India opening collections are average as a result of mixed response and are expected around 70-75% all over. The response at the multiplexes is much better and is taken to 90% but at single screens it is as poor as 50%.

Inspired by the real life incident of Miranjan Negi, a one time goal keeper of India and the coach who won gold at Manchester common wealth games, the film has Shahrukh Khan as Kabir Khan, the coach of Indian women’s hockey team.

This film also strengthens the notion that women in sports should be given more importance. The Indian Women’s Hockey Association also believes this film will draw attention to women’s hockey in India.

The film has generated postittive reviews with a treat of tremendous performance by ShahRukh khan and hence its expected that film will emerge as a success and will not let Yashraj feel sad this time. It may suffer at single screen dominated circuits.
